Mark’s journey into fine jewelry began in Napa, California, and has spanned over four decades, continuing to this day in the charming city of Klamath Falls, Oregon.

"At the age of 14, I was strolling across my middle school campus and a voice in my head said “someday you are going to be a Jeweler”. At nineteen I found myself running a bead store in Santa Cruz, California. I could not stop from visiting the local jewelry stores (especially the one or two who actually made jewelry) and staring carefully at all the details of the work. I spent any other spare time looking up all of the jewelry making and design books at the Santa Cruz library I could find to read. The process and challenge of jewelry captured my attention and my imagination."
